Season 2 is out!

Some shows try to slip under the radar, intentionally or not.

Animus Cross is such a show. It hit YouTube last year, but somehow managed to remain fairly unwatched. And yet this show is quite something. The premise it very simple, but it is the execution that makes it stick. It’s a journey back to 1867. The Idaho Territory was a new frontier full of possibilities… and dark secrets. Follow a small band of travelers as they attempt to reach the small township of Animus Cross and encounter many, many reasons to be afraid of the dark.

The quality is top, and the production values simple but up to par. Little is needed beyond props and costumes and the directing and acting makes up for the rest. Several of the crew and actors are professionals in their field and it shows. Season 2 has begun, and the mystery thickens as we learn that something is changing the town-folks.

There is much to look forward to, but I hope this does not end up being just another excuse for a Zombie or Vampire show, because they’ve been done to death… no pun intended.
