It's getting us back to a more realistic time frame in creating an audience relationship. Seinfeld would not last today, as it took two seasons for the show to really find it's footing. Now we have all manner of "gotcha" shows (spurred on by the success of Lost) that really only have one good hook, then out stay their welcome as the writing stales. In the case of Space Hospital, I'm happy to say, that each episode has been better than the last, and seasons two has started off as a dark satire with something to say. It’s one of the curious things about web content. It’s getting us back to a more realistic time frame in creating an audience relationship.
